Aaron Whear

Director

With his degree in Physical Education, Aaron began his working life as many others do as a personal trainer in a gym. Rapidly realisiing that doing what everyone else was then currently doing was not a recipe for success, Aaron worked on the business on personal training that soon produced outstanding results for his clients, the gym and Aaron. The reason for his success was simple Aaron says "I didn't change the training, I changed my approach to the business of training."

Success meant he was soon being asked to help other trainers adopt his approach. It was then that Aaron discovered what has become his life long passion... sharing his ideas and enthusiasm.

This early success lead to the challenge of applying his methods to a moribund gym. Again, Aaron devised and implemented programs and practises to enhance the business skills and competence of the whole team, which soon reaped rich rewards and the gym thrived.

Phillip Mifsud

Expert Trainer

Phil is the founder of Bodyline Health and is extremely well qualified to pass on his knowledge to fitness students as he has both Human Movement and Chiropractic Degrees!

He is actively involved in the fitness industry as a Certificate III and IV in Fitness presenter and is an expert on stretching and gym based rehabilitation. His sessions draw on both his academic knowledge as well as his “in the trenches” experience gained from over a decade working as a Personal Trainer.

Phil’s core areas of clinical interest include all areas of spinal rehabilitation, and in particularly headache, neck and back pain. He is an expert in sports injury management, particularly injuries to the shoulder and legs.

Lisa Davis

Expert Trainer

Lisa Davis brings over 13 years of experience to the health and fitness industry, with a strong foundation as a multi-disciplined Group Exercise Instructor. She has led a wide variety of classes including Body Balance, Thump, Body Pump, RPM, and Body Vive—earning a reputation for her energy, expertise, and ability to inspire.

 

Her true passion lies in Pilates, which led her to open Limber Fitness, a dedicated studio where she helps clients build strength, mobility, and mind-body connection.

Never one to stop growing, Lisa recently added Yoga instruction to her repertoire, embracing a more holistic approach to health and wellness.

With her diverse skill set and deep commitment to her clients, Lisa continues to raise the bar in the fitness world.

Roger Saheli

Expert Trainer

Roger Saheli is one of Australia’s most knowledgeable and passionate kettlebell instructors. As an international competitor in Girevoy Sport (the sport of kettlebell lifting) and a National Coach for the International Union of Kettlebell Lifters, Roger brings elite-level expertise to every session.

When he's not on the competition platform, he's coaching clients through Tough Love Kettlebells and Perform Better Personal Training, combining technical precision with real-world strength training.

Roger’s dedication to kettlebells is unmatched, and his mission is clear: to help personal trainers master the art and science of kettlebell training with confidence and skill.

Lisa Westlake

Lisa Westlake is a highly respected physiotherapist, fitness instructor, and a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association Women’s Health Group. With over 20 years of experience, she has received multiple industry honours, including:

  • Australian Fitness Leader of the Year (2000)
  • Fitness Presenter of the Year (2003)
  • Fitness Author of the Year (2009)

Renowned for her engaging teaching style and practical approach, Lisa blends clinical expertise with real-world application. Her courses empower fitness professionals with the knowledge and confidence to safely and effectively train pregnant and postnatal women.

Reg Jeka

Reg Jeka is a State and National Amateur Boxing Champion, professional boxing coach, and trainer of multiple champions, with over 30 years of experience in the sport.

From competing at the highest level to shaping future champions, Reg’s career is built on discipline, passion, and a deep respect for the craft. Known for his authentic, no-nonsense approach, he blends old-school boxing fundamentals with proven modern coaching techniques.

Reg still trains fighters and personal clients daily, bringing intensity, precision, and real-world experience to every session. His unwavering dedication and sharp coaching style have earned him a reputation as one of the most respected boxing instructors in the industry.
